Elaine Baker

Mound Bayou, Mississippi

Elaine is a member of the following:  Mt. Olive M. B. Church, Mound Bayou Public Schools Alumni Association (President); Historic Mound Bayou Foundation (Trustee); Southern Rural Black Women’s Initiative State and Regional Advisory Committees; Kemetic Cultural and Education Institute (Board of Directors); and Mound Bayou Civic Club  She is secretary of the City of Mound Bayou's Planning/Zoning Commission and serves as the  MS State Social Action Coordinator for Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and Social Action Chair - Bolivar County Alumnae Chap.

Michelle Briggs

Helena-West Helena, Arkansas

Michelle is employed as the Fiscal Administrator of the Delta Cultural Center.  She is District Director of the Arkansas State Employees Association and Secretary of the Phillips County chapter.  Michelle is also the administrator for United Restoration Outreach Church and taskforce member of Arkansas Delta Family Gospel Festival.

Catherine Cannatella

Eudora, Arkansas

Catherine is a life long resident of Eudora, Arkansas and a former member of the Peace Corps.  She is also a graduate student in the Division of Social Sciences Master of Science in Community Development program at Delta State University.  In addition, she is a member of several local organizations including, Lake Village Economic Development Commission through which she supports the local Farmer’s Market, The Delta Sprouts and Arkansas Food Policy Council. 

Thedore Jackson

St. Joseph, Louisiana

Thedore is retired from the Department of Social Services of Louisiana.  In his retirement, he holds several positions in his church, Deacon, Choir Coordinator, Assistant Superintendent of Sunday School and Adult Sunday School teacher.  He provides for the needy in the community through his work as the Benevolent Coordinator at his church
